| Abstract | A complexidade do mapeamento da hidrografia é agravada com a falta de imagens apropriadas e uma alternativa é a plataforma Google Earth Engine que consegue processar um grande volume de imagens e gerar composições rapidamente, possibilitando minimizar a presença de nuvem. Estas composições podem ser utilizadas para mapeamento não só da hidrografia, mas devido esta facilidade de restrição de datas podem ser escolhidos períodos de cheia e se comparada a um período qualquer pode se ter uma grande diferença. A metodologia para mapear a hidrografia comprovou ser eficiente, pois ficou constatado que a composição anual utiliza pixels com menor cobertura de nuvem, porém são de datas da estação seca, e por isso a área da hidrografia no período de cheia é consideravelmente superior. ABSTRACT: The complexity for mapping hydrography is aggravated by the lack of appropriate images and an alternative is the Google Earth Engine platform that can process a large volume of images and generate compositions quickly with the possibility of minimizing cloud presence. These compositions can be used not only for mapping hydrography, but due to the ease of restriction dates can be chosen periods of flood and if compared to any period can have a big difference. The methodology to map the hydrography proved to be efficient, since it was verified that annual composition uses pixels with lower cloud cover, but they are dates of the dry season, and therefore the area of hydrography in the floood period is considerably higher. |
